Im Rahmen des Israel Festivals gastiert "Mount Olympos" im Sherover Theatre in Jerusalem.
Jan Fabres “Mount Olympus” removes the myths from the way we are used to encounter Medea, Antigone, Oedipus, Odysseus and other leading figures of Greek mythology, presenting them in a direct, fearless manner, exposing their darkest aspects. Rivalries, vendettas, infidelities, rape, murder, betrayal and war converge and clash and sweep us to catharsis, with Fabre giving the theatrical text supreme importance as a “place to heal the wounds.”
