With emerging domocracies backsliding into authoritarianism and ohr´ters failung prey to populism, there has never been a more urgent need ta assess the evolving state of democracy and its impact now, amid rapid globale change. This September, The New York Times will bring together its senior journalists with international business leaders, policy makters, and a braod variety of experts to debate and discuss the current state of democracy with a focus on new solutions. Delegates from different countries and indusries will collaborate to indentify concrete actions for governments, businesses and citizens to take to preserve a free society.
