"Dylan, the brilliant, iconoclastic musician who has for decades defied people s expectations", wie er in der Los Angeles Times beschrieben wird, kriegt den Literaturnobelpreis. Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Das ist tausendmal besser, als der Friedensnobelpreis für Obama. Aber mehr gefreut hätte ich mich, wenn Bachtyr Ali ihn bekommen hätte, oder Dylan 30 Jahre früher.

Toni Morrison war die letzte Amerikanerin, die 1993 den Noelpreis erhielt.
